Verify the details before you place an order.
A strong supplier review connects the company name, factory location, production reality, product capability, quality process, and payment information.
Verify the company
- Request the Chinese business license and confirm the legal company name
- Confirm the bank-account beneficiary matches the verified company details
- Check the registration date, business scope, and physical factory address
Confirm the factory is real
- Request a live video call from the production floor—not a prerecorded tour
- Ask to see machinery, workers, warehouse, production lines, and finished goods
- Confirm the factory location, ownership, and which processes are completed there
Confirm product capability
- Ask for examples of similar products the factory has manufactured
- Confirm tooling, materials, finishes, packaging, MOQ, and production capacity
- Identify which processes are completed in-house and which are outsourced
Verify quality controls
- Ask who checks incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods
- Approve written specifications and a production sample before bulk production
- Confirm how defects, rework, and inspection issues are handled
Clarify the commercial terms
- Confirm quote currency, Incoterm, included costs, excluded costs, and payment terms
- Confirm lead time, carton dimensions, shipment volume, packing, and export documents
- Do not pay an account that does not match the verified company details without a clear documented explanation
Know when to slow down
Investigate further if a supplier refuses a live factory call, will not share company details, changes bank accounts, pressures you to pay, cannot explain production capability, or gives inconsistent answers about quality, MOQ, capacity, materials, or lead time.
